Project Activities
“Wall of Dolls” – “The Wall of Dolls” against femicide, was inaugurated in Milan in 2014, on Via De Amicis. It is a permanent installation that draws on an ancient Indian tradition where every time a woman experiences violence, a doll is affixed to the door of her home. Fashion designers, artists, associations, journalists, lawyers, doctors, and many others have contributed to the realization of the “Wall of Dolls,” which has expanded over the years to become a permanent symbol of Milan. INVELOVERITAS has supported the initiative since its inception to back actions aimed at making gender-based violence increasingly socially unacceptable.
